Test beyond the emulator
Emulators are useful for rapid development, but they cannot reproduce every manufacturer behavior, remote-control quirk or storage limitation found on physical devices.
Cover different Android generations
Testing includes older and newer Android TV versions because permissions, system APIs and firmware behavior can change between generations.
Treat incorrect data as a product bug
A beautiful card with a wrong RAM, manufacturer or Android value is still a failure. Diagnostics are verified against device settings and system behavior wherever possible.
